Heritage Ranch has a fire department and beautiful fire station that is fully staffed, seven days a week. The Fire Captain for Station 33, Marc Hanlon, and his crew: fire apparatus engineers, firefighters, and community paid call firefighters, are responsible for the local emergencies on land and on Nacimiento Lake. Heritage Ranch Station 33 maintains three fire trucks and a rescue boat, which docks on Nacimiento Lake during the busy season.

Heritage Ranch Station 33 actively recruits for community paid call firefighters.These community paid call firefighters training includes firefighter drills which are held on second and fourth Tuesdays of each month. For more information contact Captain Marc Hanlon. Volunteer Firefighters Needed

Senior Citizens Center
The Seniors of Heritage Ranch have set goals for socialization, recreation and service. With a membership of over 200, they are very busy with a number of projects, designed to appeal to every personality.

Join the Seniors

Membership is open to all Heritage Ranch residents age 50 and older. The annual membership fee is $15 per person. Come to any of our functions including our monthly meetings, which are held on the second Wednesday of each month at 2:00 p.m. at the Senior Center. To join in the fun, contact Peggy Broseghini at 227-6685.

MONTHLY POTLUCK: The third Tuesday is Potluck at the Senior Center - except for July and August when the potluck is cancelled. Social hour starts at 5:30 p.m. with dinner at 6:00 p.m.. Make your favorite recipe, put it in a pot, bring a friend and join us for a great evening!

MONTHLY LUNCHEON: The monthly luncheon is held on the last Tuesday of eachmonth at a local area restaurant. The time and place changes each month - except for August when the monthly luncheon is cancelled. The November and December luncheons are combined and held at the Madonna Inn on the first Tuesday of December.

BUNCO: On the first Monday of each month Bunco is played in the main room of the Senior Center at 1:30 p.m.

BRIDGE: Every Wednesday, Bridge is played in the card room atthe Senior Center at 12:30 p.m.

SPORT POKER: Every Wednesday, Sport Poker is played in the card room at the Senior Center at 7:00 p.m.

SENIORS' BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING: On the second Wednesday of each month the Seniors' Board of Directors Meeting is held in the main room of the Senior Center at 2:00 p.m.

COMMUNITY BREAKFAST: On the second Wednesday of each month there is a Community Breakfast in the main room of the Senior Center at 8:00 a.m.

TEXAS HOLD EM: On the third Friday of each month Texas Hold Em is played in the main room of the Senior Center at 7:00 p.m.

CHRISTMAS BAZAAR: Check the calendar for date

LIBRARY: The Library, located in the Senior Center, is open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., except on Sundays. This is a lending library, free, and open to everyone on the Ranch. The Library phone number is 238-0306.

SENIOR CENTER AVAILABILITY: The Senior Center is available for non-member family gatherings and celebrations for rent. For more information, call Frank Oldt at 227-6506.

HERITAGE RANCH TELEPHONE BOOKS: The Heritage Ranch Telephone Books are published and sold by the Seniors on a periodic basis.

RECYCLING: Aluminum can recycling bins are located around the Ranch including at the: Senior Center, Rec Barn, Marina, Country Store and Lakeside Deli. Please help keep our Ranch clean and support the Seniors at the same time.
