Church
Elders
Bill Yoder I accepted the
Lord as my personal savior in 1983. Since that time I have
served in a church sponsored cub pack as chairman and a Boy
Scout troop as scoutmaster. I was the neighborhood commissioner
serving ten cub packs and six Boy Scout troops, teaching in
the Good News Club and was a member of the training staff
helping our adult members.
I have served various churches as treasurer & secretary.
I have completed a course at the School of Discipleship &
Ministry. I feel that my greatest achievement is and
was bringing children to the Lord
Shirley
Yoder I've been trusting Jesus
as my savior since I was 20 years old, when I dedicated my
life to Him and received Him into my heart.
For many years at different times, I've worked as a Sunday
School Teacher and Superintendent, Crusader Leader, Single
Mothers Home Support Group Leader, Church Board Member, Choir
Member, and Home Group Leader for Divorced Parents.
I have studied at Life Bible College in Los Angeles and graduated
from a 2 year practical ministry training course from George
Fox College through Atascadero Foursquare Church.
My husband and I have chosen
Heritage Ranch as our retirement home and have enjoyed the
wonderful teaching, worship and fellowship at Living Waters
Christian Fellowship. We've attended here since the fall of
2001. We have been leading the Senior Fellowship Group for
the last two years, and enjoy participating in the many activities
of the church and helping out wherever we are needed.
Erin
Grocott I came to the Lord
in 1988. In all my 30 yrs. before, I never knew I could
be forgiven for my sins. What a freedom that was!! This
journey for me is about surrenduring it ALL to my Savior.
I was involved with Living Waters Church even before I became
a member; with Vacation Bible School, women's ministries,
bible study, & retreats. I'm a part of our church's
Prayer Team and Children's Ministry Team. I am on the extended
board for Paso Robles AGLOW International.
My heart is to grow deeper in my daily walk with Jesus. I
am always blessed when I pray for people. Jesus shows
up with His Holy Spirit and Power.

Our
Church Founder
Pastor Joseph Thompson The
Village of Heritage Ranch at Lake Nacimiento encompasses approximately
9,150 total acres of which 5,100 are to be held in permanent
open space. Open space at Heritage Ranch includes many
recreational amenities along with all the undeveloped, natural
open areas which can be used for recreation and enjoyment.
Heritage Ranch was once a large cattle ranch known as the
"Godfrey Ranch". On January 28, 1972, The Village of Heritage
Ranch Owners' Association (HROA) was incorporated. Shortly
after, in May of 1972 development had started and the community began
to grow.
Nacimiento is a spanish
word meaning "Place of Birth" which is only fitting. In 1979
the Living Waters Church was born. The land was donated to
the congregation by the Heritage Ranch Owners Association
and the facility was built. Founded by Pastor Joseph Thompson...
the church has been spreading the good news of Jesus Christ
for almost 30 years. You can definitely say the Village of
Heritage Ranch is no longer a "Godfrey Ranch" anymore. Pastor
Thompson has since past but the work he has done in the
Heritage Ranch Community is still alive and well today.
